OÜ REMARCON data protection conditions
OÜ Remarcon processes personal data in accordance with the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act and the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data of the European Union.
We process the personal data of our patients and clients in accordance with the Health Care Services Act, the Health Insurance Act and the Medicines Act. We process the personal data of job candidates and employees on the basis of the Employment Contracts Act. Personal health data is a special type of personal data.
We collect personal data for specified purposes, which is primarily the provision of healthcare to our patients and customers, and this data is not used for other purposes. Should we intend to further process personal data for purposes other than those for which they were originally collected, we will provide you with information on the purposes of further processing of the data and will not process them for purposes other than your consent.
When collecting personal data, we strictly limit ourselves to the data necessary to provide healthcare to our patients and clients. The purpose of collecting personal data of job applicants and employees is to recruit the employees we need and to enter into an employment relationship with OÜ Remarcon.
In order to identify and correct incorrect personal information, we periodically ask our patients, customers and employees to confirm the accuracy of personal information.
Time limits for the storage of personal data
We keep patient and client health cards and procedure cards for 30 years since the last visit.
We keep the referral letters, analysis answers, etc. attached to the medical history for 30 years after the end of the medical history.
In the case of job candidates with whom an employment relationship is not concluded, we will keep the CVs of personal data for one year from the decision to cancel (basis – Equal Treatment Act) until the end of the competition.
We maintain the employment contracts of the employees for 10 years after the termination of the employment contract.
We keep the letters and accounting documents sent to OÜ Remarcon for 7 years.
We process personal data securely, protected from unauthorized or illegal processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage. We only pass on personal data known to us to third parties in cases arising from the law.
By submitting your personal data to us, you have given us permission to process it. If personal data becomes available to us in any other way, we will provide you with information on the processing of personal data within 1 month, unless you already have this information, it is impossible to provide the information or requires a disproportionate effort (eg for research and statistics), obtaining or disclosure is provided by law or personal data are covered by the obligation of professional secrecy.
The notice we provide about the processing of your personal data, if the personal data is not collected from the person himself or herself, contains the following data:
our data as controller;
details of our data protection officer;
the legal basis and purpose of the processing;
types of personal data;
information on a legitimate interest;
recipients of personal data;
data retention period;
transfer to a third country;
source of personal data;
automated decisions and profiling.
OÜ Remarcon’s clients, patients, job applicants and employees have the following rights both during the collection of personal data and in a situation where the data is not collected from the person himself / herself:
the right to request access to personal data concerning a person;
the right to request the rectification of data;
the right to request the deletion of data;
the right to restrict the processing of personal data;
the right to object to the processing of personal data;
the right to request the transfer of personal data;
the right not to be the subject of a decision based on automated processing
the right to withdraw consent;
the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.
